A solid training in both traditional dance and flamenco put ángeles Gabaldón firmly on the road to success. The bailaora and ballerina from Seville graduated in Spanish traditional dance and went on to study classical Ballet at Seville’s Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático y Danza. Besides the official qualifications, she’s studied flamenco under her own steam, taught by the likes of Matilde Coral, Manolo Marín, El Mimbre, Manolete, Javier Latorre, Merche Esmeralda, Eva Yerbabuena and Belén Maya; her training in danza espa?ola has been furthered by the José Granero and Ana María Bueno among others, and she’s been taught classical techniques by Rosa Naranjo and Cristina Urbano.

Gabaldón forged her career on the tablao circuit. She spent the years between 1991 and 2002 at these small flamenco venues, dancing at El Patio, Los Gallos and El Arenal in Seville, Viernes Flamenco in Osaka (Japan), and Camino Real and Triana in Mexico City. Meanwhile she took the opportunity to participate in festivals like the closing ceremony at the 1993 Universal Exhibition in Wakayama (Japan), The 1995 Festival Flamenco Ciudad de México, the 1999 Perth International Music Festival in Australia and Istanbul’s International Festival of Music and Dance in 2000, among others. She’s also been a component of companies like that of Yoko Komatsubara, participating in productions like ‘El amor brujo’, and the Pilar Távora company, where she starred alongside bailaor Rafael de Carmen, in the show ‘Atlántico’ in 2002.

As for teaching, the bailaora has built up an impressive résumé, with many years of experience behind her as monitor at Manolo Marín’s school, as resident teacher at the Javier Cruz academy, and as a guest instructress at centers such as Tokyo’s Sala Andalucía. ángeles Gabaldón has also picked up several awards along the way. Particularly worthy of mention is her first prize in the baile category at the 2002 Festival Internacional de las Minas de La Unión (Murcia), an award which earned her a tour with the prizewinners in the cante and toque categories, with dates including Granada’s Teatro Alhambra and Seville’s Teatro Central, among other venues. In 2003 ángeles Gabaldón launches ‘Inmigración’, her first solo production.

One of the top festivals to study with the world’s greatest flamenco teachers and this year she teaches at the festival along with Manuel Linan, Manolo Marin, Matilde Corral etc.

At this time, prices are subject to increase of decrease depending on numbers.  Flamenco Workshop Intensivo is open to students with over 1 year flamenco experience or an equivalent flamenco dance level.  Classes will be at an intermediate level.

原來是我在迷火的電子報上所看到的春季大師班

在迷火的長尾裙班是專業班(沒有助教)....看起來真不容易
