Very nice Solea! it was Blanca in 1995 right?
I saw her 10 years later, with simpler dance, but so much more duende, ole!!

Blanca del Rey, born in Cordoba, Spain, is a self-taught dancer. She won several competitions at the age of six & soon afterwards began to dance in the Fran Teatro of Cordoba. At 12 yrs old, she made her professional debut in El Zoco, the tablao flamenco in Cordoba. Her training is based on the flamenco guitar & gypsy song tradition.
When she was 14 she made her debut in a tqblao flamenco in Madrid & until 19. She was very successful in the Corral de la Moreria, a tablo flamenco in which almost all the greatest flamenco dancers have performed. She left the world of dance, however, when she married Maneul del Rey.
She then began to study art history in a university & started to investigate the evolution of flamenco. This helped to bring about a radical change in her concept of dance. When her 2 children have grown up, she occasionally performed at the Corral de la Moreria & has even toured the main theatres of Japan. She made a triumphant return to the dance world when she appeared as the lead dancer on a Spanish TV programme, La Danza(The Dance). With her outsanding choreography, Solea del Manton, she created a new school of flamenco.
