After having studied with the great flamenco master Juan Serrano, having presented over 300 flamenco guitar recitals in Greece and the United States and after having given lectures and seminars at several leading American colleges and universities, Greek guitarist Ioannis Anastassakis has released his live recording, [color=#a020f0]Flamenco Live At Ioannina[/color]. The original recording of the CD took place during a recital at the Greek city of Ioannina, on April 1st, 2000. Here's what Ioannis has to say about his CD, "The original release had a very natural sound, in the sense that there was only the dry guitar output direct from the 2 microphones used in the recording. Since my CD publisher and myself had run out of copies and would have to manufacture several thousands more, I decided to take the opportinity remaster the original audio files, in order to take advantage of the much more sensitive and finely tuned ears of a professional sound engineer. Also, I decided to get a different, more appropriate artwork and packaging the recording as a limited edition digi-pack, since that is my favorite CD-packaging format!"
