迷火再到香港攪WORKSHOP.....
Ian Fu, the chairman of Mi Camino Flamenco. Hong Kong Mi Camino Flamenco will organize the First Flamenco Festival for Hong Kong in March 2008. One of the objectives of this festival is to provide a platform as well as opportunities to local artists and students to experience Flamenco Performance on stage at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre. To prepare for this event, a series of preparatory workshops will be conducted to facilitate interested parties to acquire essential skills and experience.
With the programme of festival in mind, these preparatory workshops are designed to cover the necessary performing elements, such as dance choreography, adaptation to live music and stage presentation, for a few selected Flamenco styles/palos, such as Alegrias, Peterenas and Bulerias de Jerez. Any interested parties are cordially invited to join these workshops without any obligation to take part in the performance. However, it is a pre-requisite for them to go through these workshops to equip themselves with the necessary skills and knowledge prior to taking part as a performer in the upcoming Flamenco Festival.
Apart from the preparatory workshop, Flamenco Dance Beginner workshop will also be offered to those who are interested in learning the basics. However, the content of the workshop is not included in the programme of the festival. CD Music will be used in the Beginner Workshop.
