Juan Polvillo’s artistic
background surpasses twenty
years of academic and
choreographic studies, with famous
flamenco masters, such as:
Farruco, Manolo Marín, Manolete,
La Toná, and Matilde Coral. Some
of his achievements in the flamenco
world include:

First Place, by Sevillanas,
Premio Enrique el Cojo Price,
Sevilla, Spain, 1990

First Place, by Tarantos,
Premio Festival Flamenco de
Ubrique Price, Cádiz, Spain, 1991

First Place, by Alegrías,
Premio Festival Flamenco de San
Pedro de Alcántara Price, Málaga,
Spain, 1992

Second place by Tarantos. Premio
Festival internacional de las minas,
La Unión. Spain, 2004.

He danced at the Bienal de
Flamenco, (Sevilla, Spain), in two
occasions.   In 1997 he went on
tour through the Netherlands and
Belgium as the first dancer for the
Fiesta Gitana de Curro Vélez
Flamenco Group, with artists like
Carmen Montoya and La Coneja.

He has danced in many countries,
for personalities like King Hussein
of Jordan, King Hassan II of
Morocco, the King and Queen of
Spain, George Bush, ex-president
of the United States of America,
and Pope John Paul II.  He has
also ventured in movies: Carlos
Saura’s “Sevillanas” and “Montoyas
y Tarantos”.

Dance Choregoraphy (with Guitarist)

Level 1 : Tangos  (Suitable for those with experience around 3 months or
above)
Level 2 : Solea por Bulerias  (Suitable for those with experience and wish
to progress at a higher level)
Level 2 to 3: Bulerias (Suitable for those with experience in flamenco
dance)
Level 3 : Alegrias (Choreography with a high level of technique)

Fee:
HK$430 per session (1 hour);
HK$650 per session (1.5 hour)
20% off for enrol over 6 sessions or more

这么快就开班啦。。。。。来不及准备啊。。。。。

就是剛剛知道的 ....
12月6日至12日
Level 1 - Tango 有7節 (每節一小時, 每天一節)
Level 2 - Solea por Bulerias 有7節 (每節一小時, 每天一節)
Level 2-3 Bulerias 只有2節 (12月8日和9日 每天 1.5 小時)
Level 3 Alegrias 有7節 (每節一小時, 每天一節)

還有十天左右, 如果有興趣可跟主辦人確認課堂, 交費遲些應該可以吧 !! 真是難得機會呀 !!

現時本地會教 Bulerias 和 Alegrias 的老師真的不多.  我都會去開眼界, 雖然可能跟不上.  我沒有去過西班牙上課, 這一次可以體驗真正的 Flamenco , 太激動 !! 我是希望多些人可以有機會親身體會.
